We're not for certain when, but somewhere along the way, the local cafe lost its place as the focal point for all things small town America. Oh, it was bound to happen. As commutes became longer and deadlines shorter, the notion of settling in with friends and family for a good meal got set aside along the way.

We at Elsner's Cafe believe that is a shame. With all that is right in the world, there is a lot that would be even better if people had the notion to take a moment, sit, relax, and share a dining experience with family and friends.

At least that's what we believe, and that's why we're here. A pleasant place on a historic street serving up classic dishes that, over time, we all started to take for granted. But, now we can all enjoy again.
